Kate Gerwin, the 2014 Bols Around the World Winner is heading to Australia and will be hosting a bartending masterclass in Sydney.
Gerwin will draw on her 10+ years of industry experience to educate and inspire local bartenders and enthusiasts on international cocktail and flavour trends, cocktail innovation and the importance of flavour in cocktail making.
During the masterclass Gerwin will give attendees "invaluable insight into the world of competitive bartending and how ambitious bartenders can make it to the top on a global level through innovative thinking".
As the first ever female winner of Bols Around the World, Gerwin comes with a wealth of knowledge on the important role of women in cocktail culture and the international bartending industry.
The masterclass will take place at the Barber Shop in Sydney on Wednesday, 13 May from 12pm to 2pm. Places are very limited and anyone wishing to attend should email dylan@thedrinkcabinet.com.
