Think Spirits has announced the addition of the award winning Elijah Craig Small Batch 12 year-old and Single Barrel 18 year-old bourbons to its portfolio.
Although Elijah Craig has been available in Australia for over ten years through a national retailer, Think Spirits says that its new distribution agreement with Heaven Hill, the distiller of Elijah Craig, will mean a wider availability of the premium bourbon range for both the on-premise and-off premise markets.
“Since Think Spirits was founded in 2004, almost seven years ago now, we have been searching for the perfect bourbon to add to our portfolio, and Elijah Craig ticks all the boxes,” said Think Spirits managing director, Patrick Borg.
“For Heaven Hill to place one of their most treasured brands exclusively with Think Spirits is testimony to our solid relationship and the success we have achieved to date in building brands.
”Our goal is to ensure that Elijah Craig is front and centre in the bourbon category.”
The Elijah Craig range is named after the man who first aged whiskey in charred oak casks, and it is currently produced by father and son Master Distillers, Parker and Craig Beam, sixth and seventh generation Beam family distillers.
Thinks Spirits is now also distributing Fernet Branca, recognised by bartenders for its unique, complex and intense flavour, with the highly versatile and mixable bitters used in a variety of cocktail recipes.
