The Brewers Association of Australia has given its “heartfelt congratulations” to Kylie Lethbridge for her successful appointment as CEO of the Australian Distillers Association.

It was announced last week that Lethbridge would be leaving her role as CEO of the Independent Brewers Association to become General Manager at Australian Distillers,

In congratulating Lethbridge on her new role, the new Brewers CEO Amanda Watson said although her direct relationship with Lethbridge and the Independent Brewers of Australia was new, she was delighted that women in the industry are being recognised and rewarded for their excellence and was aware of the strong collaboration between the two brewing organisations in the past.

“I wish Kylie every success in her new role and thank her for her historical partnership with our Association,” Watson said.

“I look forward to working with her in her new role in the industry and know she’ll apply the same dedication and pragmatism to that membership as she did with the indies.

“I also look forward to meeting the new CEO and continuing a positive relationship with them once they are appointed.”

Lethbridge will officially join the ADA on 27 October 2025 bringing a proven track record of elevating industry voices and building strong, future-focused organisations.

Evin Craney, board Chair of the Independent Brewers Association said the IBA will make a further announcement in the coming weeks regarding its new CEO.
