Brown-Forman has announced changes to the leadership team for its newly created APAC region, with Eveline Albarracin stepping into the role of Senior Vice President, Managing Director.
Albarracin commenced the new role yesterday, and will soon relocate to Singapore to oversee markets in Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.
Since joining Brown-Forman in 2020 as Managing Director Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands (ANZPI), Albarracin has played a pivotal role in developing Brown-Forman’s international presence, with her regional responsibilities expanding to include India, the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey in 2022.
Speaking about Albarracin’s ability to steer international expansion for the American beverage business, Brown-Forman Executive Vice President and President, Emerging Inernational, Michael Masick, said: “Eveline’s extensive business acumen and expertise are invaluable in this pivotal role.
“As one of Brown-Forman’s most promising growth opportunities, we are confident in APAC’s continued success and expansion under her outstanding leadership.”
With a team that spans ANZPI, China, emerging Asia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and India, Albarracin will lead Brown-Forman’s expansion within these markets.
Brown-Forman will soon commence recruitment for the role of Managing Director, ANZPI, through a global internal and external search, with the position to be based in Sydney.
