Bunnamagoo Estate Rosé earns Gold at the National Liquor News Awards, reaffirming the brand’s quality and craftsmanship.

After impressing judges with a Silver Medal (93 points) at the 2025 RAS Sydney Wine Show, Bunnamagoo Estate Rosé has gone one better – taking home Gold in the National Liquor News expert panel tasting.

Angus Barnes, GM at Bunnamagoo Estate said: “It is always positive for our winemakers to win medals at major capital city shows, but it is particularly gratifying to be awarded Gold by experts in the retail and hospitality trade. These professionals are finely attuned to what their customers are looking for, and their favourable recommendations confirm this is a wine consumers will love. Our Rose sales are well up on last year, further proof our Rose is a winner.”

Rick Staniford, Chief Winemaker commented: “2025 was a warm vintage contributing to excellent ripening. Fruit quality was high, and we achieved an optimal balance of fruit and natural acidity. From all estate grown Merlot, we have crafted a subtle fruity palate with a clean crisp dry finish. Very quickly this Rose has become a top seller for us.”

Staniford has been Chief Winemaker for the last two vintages and the quality improvements are clearly evident. Medals and awards have increasingly been won across the portfolio, and reinvigoration in their extensive vineyards and the winery will ensure this continues.
