Campari Australia has announced the launch of The Cocktail Studio, a blog and website created to share drinks, trends, news, competitions and stories with the Australian bar community.
The Cocktail Studio is a digital platform to share content created by Gruppo Campari and member contributors.
It aims to assist in building a community within the Australian bar scene and providing useful information about Campari brands for bartenders.
The blog will regularly feature engaging information such as recipes with high quality drink photography. It will include an Instagram feed using the hashtag #thecocktailstudio and handle @thecocktailstudio. Video content will also feature including "how to" clips and curious stories of classic cocktails.
Together with former Australian Bartender of the Year Oliver Stuart, Campari Australia's new team of brand ambassadors – Jordan Berger NSW, Zac Markov SA, Daniele Pirotta QLD & Jamie Chesher VIC – will contribute regularly to the site. Members of The Cocktail Studio around Australia can submit their recipes and stories as well. Additionally, The Cocktail Studio exists as a service managed by Campari’s brand ambassadors to work with bars and restaurants to create bespoke cocktails and cocktail lists for individual businesses.
Members will also be able to enter a national cocktail competition – The Directors Cut, which will be run monthly with prizes for the best recipe and image uploaded.
The Cocktail Studio has a recurring theme of art deco, film, literature and visual art, which Campari says are relevant to the history of cocktails "where rich stories cross over with classic drinks and people".
