Campari Australia has agreed a deal with Garage Beverage Manufacturing for the sale and purchase of Campari Australia’s manufacturing site located in Derrimut, Victoria.

Jacopo Borsa , Campari Australia’s Managing Director, said the sale of the Derrimut facility was part of a broader strategy to focus on the sale and marketing of Campari’s brands.

“We are pleased to partner with Garage Beverages, a local manufacturer with extensive manufacturing experience and a strong commitment to excellence.  We look forward to working with Garage Beverages over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition,” Borsa said.

The sale is set to be completion towards the middle of this year, and as part of deal Garage Beverages will continue to manufacture Campari Australia’s ready to drink products, which includes Wild Turkey, at the site.

Garage Beverages was formed in 2011 and describes itself as “a privately owned Australian business focused purely on beverage contract packing”.
