Canadian Club whisky will continue its ‘Over Beer?’ campaign with the introduction of a 350ml Canadian Club Schooner glass – the CC schooner.

The campaign targets occasions where beer is likely to be drunk and then asks the question “Over Beer?” with the CC schooner designed to make the transition as easy as possible.

The schooner glass is the brainchild of ad agency The Works.

Canadian Club brand director Trent Chapman believes the creative thinking will impress CC drinkers, while also appealing to those who are looking for an alternative to beer.

“The CC Schooner provides a simple but powerful connection that taps into existing consumer behaviour of ordering a schooner of beer and provides an alternative in Canadian Club,” he said.

The schooner was rolled out nationally yesterday (March 1).
