Capel Vale is an early foundation winemaker in Western Australian established by Dr Peter and Elizabeth Pratten in 1974. Their son Simon Pratten has managed Capel Vale as CEO since 2007. Capel Vale was first to grow grapes across the diverse cool climate regions of Geographe, Margaret River and Mount Barker. The marque and its wines are truly representative of Western Australian premium winemaking.
