Casella Wines has announced the appointment of three new members to its sales and marketing team.

Stuart Brown (left) has been appointed to the position of national domestic accounts manager for Casella’s iconic Yellow Tail brand.

Brown brings more than 25 years experience in both liquor and FMCG roles, and will be responsible for building the Yellow Tail brand in both the on- and off-premise markets.

Also on the sales side is Jason Case, who has taken on the role of sales representative for both on and off-premise accounts in the Sutherland Shire, Southwest Sydney, Illawarra and Southern Highlands regions.

Case began his career in the liquor industry in the late 1980s and has previously worked for Advintage Wines and Barwick Estate.

Samantha Marks has been named as the new domestic brand manager for the Yellow Tail label.

Marks comes from a background in brand management at ACP Magazines and will be responsible for strengthening consumer awareness of Yellow Tail through sponsorships, advertising and promotions.

A spokesperson for Casella Wines said that the appointments have come at an important time for the family-owned winery.

“2011 marks the 10th anniversary for the Yellow Tail brand and many resources will be invested in highlighting this significant milestone among trade and consumers.”
