Qantas business class customers will be able to enjoy Champagne Jacquart from next week.
A "Grower Champagne" for more than 50 years, Champagne Jacquart's 1800 growers are the largest grower of grapes in the Champagne district, which allows them the pick of the grapes to create each Jacquart wine.
The move to Qantas will see the airline extend its award-winning wine range. Qantas is the only airline to be awarded Best First Class Sparkling at the prestigious Cellars in the Sky Awards for five consecutive years.
Chef de Cave for Champagne Jacquart, Floriane Eznack, said: "Qantas is well regarded for its selection of quality wines, so we are honoured Qantas has chosen our champagne to serve onboard.
"We are looking forward to sharing our fantastic wine with Qantas customers."
The Champagne Jacquart range in Australia comprises the NV Jacquart Brut Mosaique, NV Jacquart Rose, Jacquart 2006 Blanc de Blancs and the prestigious 2005 Jacquart Cuvee Alpha. Champagne Jacquart is distributed by Single Vineyard Sellers in Australia.
