Chivas Regal unveiled its latest product, the Chivas Regal 25 Year Old, at an exclusive event in Sydney last night.

The exciting Australian launch was held at the historic Elizabeth Bay House, where guests were taken on a journey of flavours and sensory experiences.

“The event was designed to communicate the Chivas Regal brand portfolio through design and direct relation to the key senses – smell, touch, hear and sight,” said Yakusan creative director and organiser, Mark Ward.

“In addition to this, we integrated three key areas based on the past, present and future of the Chivas Regal brand. The Manhattan Bar, a Louis Ghost inspired dining room and finally, The Chivas Studio.”

Food by top Sydney chefs Warren Turnbull, Greg Doyle and Sean Connolly was expertly matched with cocktails created by international brand ambassador for Pernod Ricard, Ben Davidson, before the highly anticipated presentation of the 25 Year Old.

The crowd was taken out on to the verandah, where Chivas Regal master blender Colin Scott appeared in a horse-drawn carriage to personally deliver the first bottle to be sampled in Australia.

“[This was] as it was delivered in 1909 — the year of the first launch for Chivas Regal 25 Year Old,” Ward said.

Chivas Regal will be available in very limited quantities at selected Duty Free outlets and at a select number of premium bars including Seamstress (Melbourne), Bayswater Brasserie (Sydney) and Palazzo Versace (Gold Coast).
