The New South Wales liquor regulator has responded to confusion over the boundaries of the Sydney precinct that will be affected by proposed lockouts and early closures.
The map released on Tuesday showing the boundaries of the Sydney CBD Entertainment Precinct did not provide clarity on the names of the streets that form its boundaries, or whether venues on both sides of the street are affected.
An OLGR spokesman today told TheShout the final Sydney CBD Entertainment Precinct is subject to the passing of legislation by Parliament "after which authorities will immediately inform all affected licensed venues".
"The proposed Sydney CBD Entertainment Precinct boundary will be included in the legislative package to be introduced to Parliament next week," he said.
