Coca-Cola is launching a limited edition Coca-Cola Zero bottle in the UK to mark the release of the new James Bond film, ‘Quantum of Solace‘.
The 330ml bottle features a sleek black design that mirrors the edgier portrayal Bond actor Daniel Craig has brought to the role. It also draws inspiration from the iconic Bond gun barrel sequence, which has opened every Bond movie since the franchise began in 1962.
“This is an amazing opportunity to be part of the phenomenon that is James Bond,” said Coca-Cola Great Britain brand director, Bobby Brittain. “Our iconic glass bottle for Coke Zero lends itself perfectly to a Bond style accessory. The infamous curves of the bottle are the perfect complement to the legendary Bond imagery and a fitting way to mark the release of the film."
It is the first major collaboration for the Coca-Cola Zero brand on an international stage since its worldwide launch in 2006.
A spokeswoman for Coca-Cola Australia said the company was still in the process of finalising plans for the local application of the Zero Zero Seven campaign. She said it was likely a low-key version of the campaign would accompany the Australian release of ‘Quantum of Solace’ on November 19.
