De Bortoli Wines has released two new ranges of wines – 'The Palette Series' and 'G.S Yarra Valley'.
The Palette Series is a range of two red and two white wines designed to connect younger drinkers with a sense of place about the wines they are drinking.
It aims to do so by painting a picture of the three Victorian regions; Heathcote, Yarra Valley and King Valley, where fruit for the wines was grown.
The collection includes Gumboot Fruit Heathcote Shiraz 2014; Over Yonder Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2015; Topsy Turvy Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2013; and Fresh Reign King Valley Pinot Grigio 2014.
The Palette Series range is available exclusively through BWS for RRP $16 each.
The other range launched by De Bortoli, the G.S Yarra Valley range has been created exclusively for and in collaboration with Dan Murphy's.
The inspiration for the range came from the historic Gulf Station farming property on which the De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate is situated.
The wine teams from De Bortoli and Dan Murphy's carefully selected some of the best vineyard parcels of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from around the Yarra Valley to create the two wines.
Steve Webber, De Bortoli's chief winemaker said: "Wine drinkers are seeking Yarra Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with energy, detail, texture and charm. The new G.S package and wine quality should bring all of this and more at an affordable price. The wines are both from the outstanding 2014 vintage and are quite stunning."
The De Bortoli G.S wines are available nationally at Dan Murphy's stores for RRP $16.99.
