Award-winning Melbourne bar Der Raum will host an Ardbeg Islay Malt Whisky master class next Tuesday (October 28).
The master class will feature a demonstration of the individualistic attributes of a selection of Ardbeg single malt whiskies.
Moet and Hennessy representative Robb Sloan will be on site to present an overview of Ardbergs’ lineage and explore its subtle flavours and use in both classic and contemporary cocktails.
“The session is designed to reinforce why the Ardbeg Ten can proudly lay claim to being called ‘World whisky of the Year’; by Jim Murray in his 2008 edition of The Whisky Bible,” Sloan said.
Tickets are $25 for members and $40 for guests.
