Drambuie has announced the launch of two premium expressions of the malt whisky liqueur into the Australian market this month.
Following the reinvention of Drambuie Original in 2009 to target it towards a younger audience, Drambuie 15 and The Royal Legacy of 1745 have been introduced as the brand moves towards creating a complete product offering.
Drambuie 15 is a whisky connoisseur's expression of Drambuie; made with a selection of 15-year-old Speyside malt whiskies and infused with Drambuie's secret recipe of herbs, spices and heather honey.
The Royal Legacy of 1745, meanwhile, is touted as "the world's finest cask-infused malt whisky liqueur".
"Presented in an embossed decanter, crowned with a weighty cork stopper, The Royal Legacy of 1745 evokes the luxury and indulgence of a bygone regal age," Drambuie said.
"Each bottle is individually hand signed, numbered by master distiller and presented in a stylish presentation box. A total of 2,250 bottles have been made worldwide with only 500 available for sale in Australia."
Drambuie 15 will have a RRP price of $84.99 for 700ml and will be available through bottle shops nationally.
The Royal Legacy of 1745 will have a RRP price of $199.99 for 700ml and will be sold in travel retail stores and selected liquor merchants.
