Endeavour Vintage Beer Co and Applejack Hospitality have announced a collaboration on a new brewery, bar and restaurant venue. The two companies will work together to open The Endeavour Tap Rooms at the former King’s Head Hotel in the Sydney suburb, The Rocks.
In a statement about the partnership Endeavour said: “The venue will be the first ever location for Endeavour Vintage Beer Co.’s own brewery and will follow the brands unique philosophy of using all-Australian, seasonally-harvested ingredients with no preservatives. The restaurant menu will lend itself to the exceptional beers on tap and will offer a range of smoked produce from the land and sea, which will be served feast-style and accompanied with vibrant salads and house-made sauces. Using the on-tap beer and ferments will also play a key role in the kitchen.
“From the brewery to dining room, the team are dedicated to sourcing the very best produce available as locally as possible – both for brewing the beer and crafting the menu.”
The collaboration is currently working towards an early November opening date for the venue, which, as well as offering a wide range of beers, will also be pouring seasonal cocktails and NSW wines from keg.
The renovation of the venue coincides with a $15m NSW Government initiative to renew and revitalise heritage retail tenancies in The Rocks.
Applejack recently collaborated on the launch of Sydney Harbour hotel bar, Hacienda, as well as opening their fifth venue, Della Hyde, on Sydney’s Oxford Street.
