Shuffle Master has rolled out its new Equinox cabinets to the Australian market as the US-based gaming giant prepares to add to its local success..
According to the company’s second quarter results, released earlier this year, total Electronic Table Systems revenue jumped 117 percent to US$12.4 million, largely as a result of a US$4.3 million increase in sales of Vegas Star and Rapid Table Game seats to several large casinos in Australia.
“Once again our strong operating performance, driven largely by $3.1 million in sales revenue from Singapore as well as $4.3 million in sales revenue for e-Table placements in Australia, has resulted in improved profitability,” said Shuffle Master chief financial officer, Linster Fox.
TheShout caught up with Shuffle Master vice president – worldwide marketing, Kirsten Clark, at the recent Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) and asked her about the new Equinox cabinets.
