Berry Bros. & Rudd has confirmed that two of the bottlings from its inaugural Exceptional Casks Collection will be heading to Australia.
The two bottlings come from a 50 Year Old North British, single grain whisky and a 1972 Glenlivet single malt.
"Our philosophy when choosing casks for the collection is to provide unparalleled quality; we take immense pride in this," said Doug McIvor, spirits buyer for Berry Bros. & Rudd.
"This extraordinary and very limited range will showcase some of the most remarkable expressions we have released to-date."
The North British bottling was taken from two remaining sister casks in December 2012. Bottled at 58.9 per cent abv, there are 472 bottles available globally, with just six bottles heading to Australia, with a retail price of around $950.
The single cask of 1972 Glenlivet single malt was bottled at 53.2 per cent abv with just six of 170 bottles coming to Australia.
The Exceptional Casks Collection will be available in Australia through Samuel Smith & Son from mid-March.
