Seltzer producer Fellr is extending its range to include a 6.5 per cent ABV soda in four flavours.
At 1.8 standard drinks, the new RTDs focus on more intense flavours and a “fuller mouth feel”, according to the company. Flavours include green apple, lemon squash, raspberry and passionfruit.
Fellr Director and co-founder, Will Morgan, said he is thrilled to add to the range of alcoholic sodas.
“Our mission has always been to help people tap the most from the real pleasures in life,” he said.
“Fellr Double is the perfect drink for those who want to squeeze the last drop from every moment.”
Co-creator, Andy Skora, said the company is big on innovation, after being born at the height of the pandemic.
“[We] have always been committed to delivering high-quality, delicious, and refreshing drinks that people are proud to drink,” he said.
“We saw an opportunity to expand beyond the seltzer category and tap into audiences that are looking for a more intense and full-bodied flavour without the sugar.”
Fellr Double will be available in national and independent retailers from August with an RRP of $24 for the 4-pack and $53 for the 10-pack.
A limited run of Fellr Double will be available in select venues and bottle shops across the east coast from June 23.
In New South Wales, it can be found at the Beach Rd Hotel in Bondi, Bondi Cellars, The Greenwood in North Sydney, Porters Liquor in Balgowlah, Sunrise Cellars in Byron Bay and the Park Hotel Bottle Shop in Suffolk Park.
In Queensland, the Summa House in Fortitude Valley will stock the limited run and in Victoria it will be available at the Fitzroy Beer Garden, and Cellarbrations in Richmond and St Kilda.
