Fever-Tree Australia (FTA) has announced it has appointed two new General Managers for Australia and New Zealand, and that its local partnership with Remedy Drinks has commenced production.

FTA’s Head of Commercial Sales, Grant Howard who has been with the business for over three years and Luca Lavermicocca, who has been Head of Finance for over two years will jointly lead the business in this region.

Fever-Tree said the pair will bring extensive experience to the GM positions, as well as a local-first focus as FTA looks to continue its growth and investment in Australia and New Zealand. The appointments come after former Managing Director, Andy Gaunt left the business, to take up the CEO position at Sullivan’s Cove.

Howard said: “We have an exciting innovation pipeline and new product launches planned, building on the success of our new 250ml cans and the continued popularity of our soda range and cocktail mixers in particular which has seen the brand grow well ahead of the broader mixer category.”

The local production partnership with Remedy Drinks has previously been announced, and its commencement comes as Fever-Tree celebrates another strong year of growth in Australia. This growth has reaffirmed Fever-Tree’s leadership position across the premium mixer category.

Remedy Drinks’ state-of-the-art production facility in Melbourne’s Dandenong South is now producing Fever-Tree products, which will see improved efficiencies in Fever-Tree’s supply chain, shortened lead times for customers all while supporting local industry.

Howard added: “We are very excited to start producing Fever-Tree products locally. Partnering with Remedy Drinks will enable us to provide greater flexibility for our customers while using the same, globally sourced, highest-quality ingredients with flavour profiles remaining exactly as consumers know and love.”

When the partnership with Fever-Tree was announced, Chris Gillard, Managing Director of Remedy Australia, said: “It is an honour to be entrusted by such a well-known international brand to help drive their business in Australia.

“Our newly built Fermentary in Melbourne provides us with the capabilities to help achieve this goal. This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to shake up fizzy drinks for good.”
