Rob Brajkovich will be the new CEO of Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab, having recently announced his departure from his current position as General Manager of Feral Brewing Company.
Aquila Black Limited, the company that operates Banks and Bloom stated that Brajkovich will be joining the organisation on 10 July.
At Banks and Bloom, Brajkovich’s immediate priority will be transitioning the brand from ‘from stealth mode, into national and international distribution’ as a company statement read.
The incoming CEO said he was impressed by the distillery’s products.
“Having spent time with the team, the Board and sampled the current product range, I’m extremely excited to work with them on bringing Banks and Bloom’s unique technology driven beverages to both the Australian and international markets.”
“The unique flavours and distillation techniques the team are incorporating into their products will position Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab to transform their respective categories, as already reflected in their growing list of awards,” Brajkovich continued.
Chairman of Banks and Bloom, Matt Callahan, expressed his delight at securing Brajkovich’s services.
“We are very excited to welcome Rob to the team, which has achieved so much in the last 6 months with awards from the world’s most prestigious competition for our vodka and gin, as well as the launch of our new RTD range.”
Prior to joining Banks and Bloom, Brajkovich helped to position Feral, part of Coca Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), as a major national brewer. He has also previously worked as a State Sales Manager for CCEP’s forerunner, Coca Cola Amatil, and worked a major global FMCG companies, including Asahi Beverages, Campbell Arnotts and Johnson & Johnson.
“Rob’s experience in rapidly scaling beverage companies and expanding the range and profitability of product lines is perfectly suited to the next stage of growth for Banks and Bloom Distillery + Lab,” Callahan added.
Brajkovich joins Chief Operating Officer, Trent Carroll, and Director of Sales and Marketing, Shae Dillon, in the senior management team,
Banks and Bloom has a range of vodka, RTD and on-premise focused brands, and has a ‘number of new product launches planned for the coming months’.
