Foster’s Group announced today (November 10) that managing director – Australia, Asia and Pacific, Jamie Odell, will leave the company on Friday (November 14) to pursue other interests.
Foster’s regional heads of finance, human resources and supply services will report to the chief financial officer, chief human resources officer and chief supply officer, respectively.
The heads of the sales and marketing functions, and the managing director, Asia/Pacific will now report directly to CEO Ian Johnston, who will chair the overall regional leadership team.
“I personally thank Jamie for his contribution in various senior roles over nine years with the company and sincerely wish him well as he seeks fresh challenges in the future,” Johnston said.
Odell’s departure comes as Foster’s awaits the outcome of a review of its underperforming wine business in February that could see the multi-beverage company split In two.
A spokesperson for Foster’s corporate affairs refused to say if Odell was discharged or resigned, or whether his departure was related to the ongoing review.
