Vanguard Luxury Brands has announced the addition of a new variant to the Hudson whiskey portfolio it carries, with the introduction of Hudson Four Grain Bourbon to the local market.
Made from approximately 60 percent heirloom corn, with the remaining parts equally consisting of wheat, rye and malted barley, Hudson Four Grain Bourbon is described as a perfect balance of the soft richness of corn, the sharp peppery notes of rye, the smooth subtlety of wheat and the sweetness of malted barley.
“We’re really proud to add this wonderful whiskey to our range here in Australia. This is made even more fulfilling by the fact that William Grant & Sons, who now owns this brand, has agreed to let Vanguard continue to be the Australian importer and marketer of Hudson whiskeys,” Vanguard Luxury Brands managing director, James France, said.
William Grant & Sons acquired the Hudson Whiskey range from New York-based micro-distillery, Tuthilltown Spirits, in June last year. The rest of the Hudson range includes Hudson Baby Bourbon, Hudson Manhattan Rye, Hudson New York Corn and Hudson Single Malt.
