Gage Roads Brewing has continued its move away from Woolworths with the signing of a number of distribution partnerships across Australia.
Gage Roads’ national distribution partners now include Metcash-owned Australian Liquor Marketers (ALM) and major on-premise wholesaler group 100Proof. The company said that signing these deals and securing national independent distribution, is a major step in its five-year strategy of ‘Returning to Craft’.
Gage Roads Managing Director, John Hoedemaker, said: “Achieving efficient and broad-ranging national distribution to the independent retail trade and on-premise market is a key part of our five-year ‘Returning to Craft’ strategy.
“Complementing our existing distribution arrangements, these new relationships provide Gage Roads great access to new untapped markets and supports our vision to deliver our great quality craft beer to every fridge in Australia.”
The two deals open up many more options for Gage Roads with ALM supporting the brand as a broad range liquor wholesaler to 12,000 hotels, liquor stores, restaurants and other licensed premises in every state of Australia; 100Proof provides Gage Roads access to tailored distribution to up to 5,000 restaurants, bars and hotels in core on-premise markets including NSW, VIC and QLD.
