Galliano liqueur has introduced the Australian hospitality industry’s first bartending hall of fame— the Galliano Guida.
In book form, the Galliano Guida features a who’s who of cocktail bartenders from across the world, along with their recipe for a Galliano cocktail.
With bartenders from San Francisco to Milan, the guide also features ten Australian bartenders, including Matthew Hewitt of The Bowery, Brisbane and Toby Hilton of the Loft, Sydney.
“I wanted to keep the flavours simple to let the complexity of the Galliano come through and to highlight its vanilla finish,” Hilton said of his Golden Ducati, a mix of Galliano, cognac, lemon juice and vanilla sugar.
The guide will be released annually, with the first run limited to only 500 guides worldwide, of which Australia will receive 100.
