As the 100th Australian Open golf championship wraps up Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack has announced a two-year deal as the tournament's official spirit.
As part of the deal Gentleman Jack will be a key feature of the fan zone and players will receive a complimentary snip and shave courtesy of Gentleman Jack and The Chifley Barber.
Patrick McEwan, Jack Daniel's 'Gentleman Jack' brand manager, was very happy with the new partnership, saying: "Jack Daniel's parent company Brown-Forman enjoys an ongoing relationship with the USPGA and we are thrilled to be supporting the games elite at a local level.
"Both Jack Daniel's and the Australian Open are brands steeped in tradition and we look forward building on this new and exciting chapter."
This year's tournament also offered any player who scored an eagle on the par-five seventh a trip for two to the Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee and a choice of the own barrel. Although several players came close no-one was able to hit an eagle.
