The 2022 Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA) are taking place at Sydney Town Hall tonight and there are some great prizes lined up for the best costumes.
While the awards are taken very seriously, the ALIA night itself is a night of fun and celebration and as always there is a dress theme this year, which is ‘Dress for your next holiday’.
It’s worth getting into the spirit with some great ‘Best Dressed’ prizes for females, males and teams including premium wine packs from Treasury Wine Estates, bottles of Fireball and Sheep Dog from SouthTrade, a $200 Myer voucher from BrightSide, six tickets to Royal Randwick from Lion and two cases of De Bortoli Prosecco Magnums donated by De Bortoli wines.
This year’s ALIAs are already sold out, with the industry clearly ready for a night of celebration after two years of missing out.
The finalists for both the On-Premise and Off-Premise Awards have been revealed for this year’s awards. The break has seen ALIA return with several new awards including Best Australian Winery, Brewery and Distillery, as well as Brand Ambassador of the Year and Whisk(e)y, Gin, Tequila and Rum Bar of the Year.
With the finalists named, these were sent to the judges, a wide panel of industry experts across all aspects of the industry, and their votes are now being tallied and audited by Quantaco, with the winners revealed on the night.
Because ALIAs are voted by the industry, for the industry and the results audited by Quantaco, every finalist has an equal chance of being named a winner on the night.
