With just three months until Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE), the industry’s body for gaming suppliers has released an app to help and educate visitors to the event.
Taking place for the first time at Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island, the AGE will showcase the best and latest gaming and hospitality equipment this year August 12 to 14.
Free to gaming industry executives courtesy of the Gaming Technologies Association (GTA), the world-class event will feature more than 180 exhibitors across 15,000 square metres of new exhibition space.
Shifting location after 25 years at SCEC, the new app for both Android and iOS will show how to get to the new venue, transport timetables, an interactive floor plan and detailed exhibitor list.
It also incorporates a registration form for interstate visitors to book bus transfers between Sydney Airport and the AGE.
This year the GTA is giving away three trips for two to Las Vegas to attend the Global Gaming Expo in October. More information is available online and on the app.
The GTA has also announced the appointment of a new chairman – Bally Technologies senior vice president Australia and Europe, Adrian Halpenny.
On the GTA board of directors since March 2011, Halpenny has been heavily involved in board committees and activities, and replaces Andrew Hely.
