The Gaming Technologies Association (GTA) they will host a free gaming machine briefing for Victorian hospitality executives in coming months.
As part of the Clubs & Hotels 2009 and Foodservice Infocus Expos, the briefing will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre on June 24.
GTA Chief Executive, Ross Ferrar said given that club managers, board members, hoteliers and hospitality executives would already be congregating for the expos, it was the perfect time to hold the briefing.
“This will be a day of valuable seminars and hands-on demonstration by GTA member companies of many aspects of gaming machine operations and technology,” he said.
“Gaming machines are an integral part of the hospitality entertainment offering and we are pleased to present important information on the economic, legal and technological environments.”
Guest speakers on the day will include Channel 9 finance editor Ross Greenwood and former Victorian premier Jeff Kennett.
GTA is the operator behind the Australasian Gaming Expo and the New Zealand Gaming Expo.
