Fizz HQ is a new ‘immersive hard seltzer brewery’ located in Burleigh Heads which will allow consumers to drink and dine amongst the fermentation tanks.
The brewery will serve up Hard Fizz’s range of seltzers, including its pineapple and agave, and orange and mango flavours, alongside some expressions that will be brewery-exclusive.
Wade Tiller, Hard Fizz’s Chief, said: “Seltzer is most definitely the drink of choice around the world at the moment, but we’re proudly Gold Coast and are so stoked to be keeping it here in our hometown.”
Hard Fizz will be partnering with local beer brewers and spirit distillers, providing consumers with a variety of Gold Coast-based options to enjoy, with food including bao buns, poke bowls and shared platters.
The company is backed by a collection of high-profile Gold Coast residents including: DJs Paul Fisher, Brooke Evers and Tigerlily; surfers Laura Enever and Nikki Van Dijk; alongside celebrity chef Hayden Quinn, as well as experienced hospitality experts, Billy and Jackie Cross
Fisher is excited about the platform Fizz HQ will provide local musical talent.
“It’s all about having fun,” Fisher says.
“I think back to when I was starting out, and Fizz HQ is the perfect place for kids to start cranking it.”
Hard Fizz has ridden seltzer’s wave of popularity since the brand’s launch last year. The seltzer is now stocked in 28 countries and sold in over 3000 retailers around Australia.
As Tiller says: “It’s been an incredible 12 months.”
“From the time we started tapping our mates on the shoulder to see if they wanted to be involved, to seeing the product in our favourite bars and bottle shops in Australia, it’s been a heck of a ride but one we’re definitely enjoying.”
Hard Fizz has now topped $7.5 million in sales and is up to fifth in the increasingly contested hard seltzer category.
Fizz HQ operates from Thursday through to Sunday, with opening hours of midday to 9pm.
