Altamura Distilleries has agreed an exclusive Australian distribution deal with Aperitivo & Co, which kicks off this month to coincide with the Maybe Cocktail Festival, which started last week.
To celebrate the festival and Altamura Vodka’s launch in Australia, Altamura is sponsoring a guest shift at Dean and Nancy with Salvatore Calabrese, Il Maestro, and Federico Pavan of London’s famed Donovan Bar.
This event will provide an ideal platform to introduce Altamura Vodka’s unique umami flavour to a diverse audience of cocktail enthusiasts and industry professionals.
Naz Fazio, Managing Director of Aperitivo & Co said: “We are thrilled to welcome Altamura Distilleries to the Aperitivo & Co. family. Altamura Vodka’s exceptional quality and rich Italian heritage perfectly complement our commitment to offering discerning Australian consumers the finest selection of spirits.”
Altamura Distilleries’ entry into Australia represents a key milestone in its global expansion strategy, with the US, UK, and India already established markets for the brand. The Australia launch represents a significant step in Altamura’s drive to share the Italian legacy and tradition with global audiences.
“We are excited to introduce Altamura Vodka to the vibrant Australian market,” said co-founder Frank Grillo. “Our journey into the Australian market marks a new chapter in Altamura’s global legacy, and we are confident that our partnership with Aperitivo & Co. will ensure a successful debut.”
Altamura Vodka, which won Gold at the 2023 International Spirits Competition and numerous other awards is available now through Aperitivo & Co.
