Jägermeister has launched a special limited edition retro bottle in the retail trade across much of Europe and Australia.
The German liqueur's new limited-edition package aims to highlight the brand's 75-year history, retaining the green-coloured glass that was specially developed for creator Curt Mast, and inspired by the green cloth worn by hunters.
The distinctive bottle design is also characterised by its vintage look and textured surface, its robust square-edged shape and the Hubertus deer head is embossed on the back of the bottle with ‘Jägermeister' on the side.
Michael Bouda, Jägermeister brand manager at Suntory – the brand's Australian distributor – said the limited edition heritage bottle helps Jägermeister "fully express its long and colourful heritage".
"While many of our Jägermeister fans today are a younger demographic, this heritage bottle resonates with everyone who seeks an authentic and quality product," he said.
The bottle has a recommended retail price of $44.00.
