Pernod Ricard has announced two key appointments, with Ron Hurley appointed as Supply Chain Director with Pernod Ricard Pacific and Australian Darryn Hakof appointed as the Global Marketing Director for Pernod Ricard Winemakers.
Hurley, who will be part of the management committee within the Pernod Ricard Sydney office in Barangaroo, will look after the strategy, management and direction of all of Pernod Ricard Pacific supply chain activities, including the enhancement and integration of business systems and supply chain capabilities.
Speaking about his new role, Hurley said: “I am passionate about inspiring those around me to achieve success, and very much looking forward to working with Pernod Ricard to enable that success.”
Hurley will report into Bryan Fry, Managing Director for Pernod Ricard Pacific, who welcomed Hurley, saying: “We are a consumer centric business and I believe that this role will enable us to drive strategic efficiencies and unrivalled customer service, whilst minimising operating costs and working capital. Ron is going to bring a wealth of experience to the business and we look forward to welcoming him to the team.”
Meanwhile Hakof has been appointed Global Marketing Director following some executive transfers within the Pernod Ricard Group.
Hakof has nearly 20 years’ experience within the Pernod Ricard Group, most recently in his role as Director of Strategy and New Business for Pernod Ricard Winemakers.

In his new role, Darryn will continue to report to Bruno Rain, Chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard Winemakers; remain a member of the Pernod Ricard Winemakers Management Committee and a Better Balance Ambassador, promoting diversity and inclusiveness within the business.
