Byron Bay icons Stone & Wood and Crystalbrook Byron have come together to create a collaborative beer, and they’re giving the public the chance to name the new brew and win a luxury prize pool.

Described as “Byron Bay in a bottle”, the beer has been crafted with local finger lime and Lilli Pilli, capturing the essence of the popular coastal town with a slightly fruity, tart and cinnamon-spiced flavour profile.

Crafted using sustainable grains, the collaborative beer was designed to represent both Stone & Wood and Crystalbrook Byron’s commitment to sustainability.

Crystalbrook Byron is a leader in sustainability in the travel and tourism industry, certified by global sustainability accreditor EarthCheck at silver level for its sustainability initiatives. Likewise, B Corp accredited brewery Stone & Wood has spearheaded its own initiatives, such as its charity arm, the Ingrained Foundation.

Ingrained Foundation directly supports grassroots not-for-profits making environmental and social impact in the communities where its beer is found, and will receive a portion of the beer’s sales.

Now open, the beer-naming competition gives the public the chance to leave a legacy with the brew’s name, and the opportunity to win a luxury weekend break in Byron Bay.

The prize includes a two-night stay in a Treetops Luxe Suite at Crystalbrook Byron with daily breakfast, $100 bar credit at Stone & Wood, along with $500 worth of beer and merchandise.

The contest will run until Thursday 3 October with just two steps to enter. After signing up for Cystalbrook Crowd, entries can be submitted here.
