Hunter Valley winery McGuigan Wines is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its icon Black Label range, marking the milestone occasion with an extensive campaign designed to engage new and existing McGuigan wine drinkers.
Three decades since its launch, the range is still a favourite choice among wine lovers and demonstrates McGuigan’s ongoing commitment to quality, consistency and value.
McGuigan Black Label Red in particular has shown its enduring popularity, being Australia’s number one selling red wine for the last five years. Australian Vintage Chief Winemaker Jamie Saint says the Black Label Red is known for its fruit-forward style and generosity.
“McGuigan Black Label is our signature blend. An iconic wine, it has stood the test of time and continues to remain relevant for consumers who want a consistent wine with unmatched style.”
McGuigan Wines’ milestone campaign will see the rollout of 550,000 30th birthday limited-edition bottles of Black Label Red to retailers nationwide, supported by in-store sampling of the latest edition to the Black Label range, mid-strength wine Black Label Mid, at select Dan Murphy’s stores.
A national promotion will offer consumers the chance to win a share of $30,000 in prizes, including cash, dinner vouchers and wine cases. Fans will also be able to access a series of interactive content online such as quizzes, recipes and more.
