The date has been set for the launch of the 2018 ALSA-IRI State of the Industry Report.

While the final touches are currently being worked on, the third annual report, which gives extensive details regarding the state of Australia’s packaged liquor sector, will be launched at Parliament House in Canberra on Tuesday, 27 March.

ALSA CEO Terry Mott, told TheShout that once again retailers and suppliers can look forward to some key insights into the sector.

“The report promises to deliver a really interesting update on the shape and size of the market,” Mott told TheShout.

“Once again the IRI data is the backbone of the marketing information in the report and it is showing up the confirmation of previous trends. But there is also some very interesting new information that members and suppliers will be able to use constructively to capitalise and leverage on the changing demands of the market place.”

He added: “From the ALSA report card point of view the report details some of the really important things that we have been working on over the last 12 months as well as a number of the new initiatives that we’ve been working on that are coming through.

“So it’s a really important and valuable update for any packaged liquor retailer and for the marketplace as a whole.”

The report launch will take place at 7pm on Tuesday, 27 March and those interested in more details should contact ALSA.
