Since the partnership began in 2020, Endeavour Group has donated more than $5m to GIVIT, a charity providing goods to those in need.
The milestone has been reached by fundraising through customer and team member contributions which are being used to support Australians experiencing hardship through family and domestic violence and recent natural disasters.
Through fundraising efforts in Dan Murphyʼs, BWS, and Pinnacle Drinks, Endeavour Group has reached 4800 charities and community organisations across the country.
Endeavour Groupʼs Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Dan Holland, said the company is proud of the milestone.
“Itʼs incredible to see how much of a difference weʼve been able to make together with GIVIT, our customers, and our team,ˮ he said.
“Hitting $5 million in donations is something weʼre really proud of, but itʼs also a reminder of just how tough things are for so many people out there.
“Whether itʼs helping families rebuild after a natural disaster or providing essentials for someone going through a rough patch, itʼs amazing to know that these donations are having a real impact.
The company plans to continue the partnership and GIVIT CEO, Chris Staines, said the charity is extremely grateful for the support.
“This milestone means so much to the GIVIT team, our charity partners and recipients of these donations who all benefit from this valuable partnership,” he said.
“Donations of essential goods and services, no matter how big or small, can change the life of a person experiencing hardship.
“Whether itʼs the donation of an iPad to help a child continue their education or a grocery and fuel voucher for a mother escaping domestic and family violence, every donation has an impact.”
Recent fundraising efforts have included $105,499 raised for the February Far North Queensland Flood Appeal and $278,721 for the Ex-Cyclone Alfred Flood Appeal.
