Liquor Barons is celebrating its award-winning catalogue after beating competition from across Australia to win the Best Liquor Catalogue Award at The Real Media Awards.

The award went to Liquor Barons’ Father’s Day 2018 campaign, with the group actually providing two of the five finalists in the liquor category.

General Manager of Western Australia’s only independently owned and operated liquor retail co-operative, Chris O’Brien, said: “This is a fantastic result for our group, and is recognition for the high quality of marketing material we produce for our members.”

The winning catalogue Father’s Day 2018 profiles three father/son(s) teams that own and operate three of the Liquor Barons stores in WA.

“We’re delighted to have won with this catalogue. Father’s Day 2018 was designed to tell our uniquely West Australian story and it highlights the real people behind our brand. Our co-operative is wholly independent and totally focused on three key pillars; independence, expertise and local. This catalogue showcases all three of these traits and really brings home the message that we are close to home, but far from ordinary,” O’Brien added.

The other finalist from Liquor Barons was it On The Vine Sparkling 2018 which is part of the group’s fine win catalogue series On The Vine, with this one presenting the top picks in sparkling wines.

O’Brien said: “This catalogue emphasises our dedication to having a strong point of difference in the WA liquor market and our ongoing premiumisation strategy.”

Each On The Vine edition features wines that are tasted and selected by Liquor Barons’ panel of wine experts, who meet weekly to discuss and select the very best wines available to offer to the group’s customers.
