After the success of last year’s inaugural Legit Locals campaign, Liquor Barons is back, bigger and better than ever. This October, Legit Locals 2 is set to launch featuring a new lineup of ‘Perthonalities’ who truly represent what it means to be a local West Aussie.
Liquor Barons is the only 100% Western Australian independently owned and operated retail liquor co-operative, and since their inception have always celebrated their independence and local identity. What better way to epitomise the true local nature of the brand than by incorporating actual people who shop at Liquor Barons along with local store owners, and beer, wine, and spirit suppliers throughout their advertising.

What started as a social media competition enticing people across the state to nominate themselves embodying the true West Australian spirit, evolved into a two-day photo shoot with 30 of the most legit locals. From there a fully integrated, four-month campaign was underway, which includes numerous outdoor billboards, Adshels, a whole lot of social media activity, POS, and catalogues.
The campaign kicks off in line with the return of warmer days and nights and the spring/summer entertainment season – a time when Perth’s outdoor lifestyle comes alive and thrives.
