2023 is well underway! It’s been another strong start to the year for the BrightSide team who have been connecting the drinks industry for well over a decade.

Attracting talent

  • There is a shift back to remuneration and job security being key drivers for candidates given the increases in the cost of living. It’s critical to have an attractive salary and benefits package in place and to clearly articulate the company’s long term vision.
  • The hybrid model is here to stay. It’s important for companies to create and embed a culture around this as candidates feel they have proven their productivity hasn’t waned when working from home.

Retaining staff

  • Many of our clients are focused on finding ways to keep employees motivated and engaged in their work.  Upskilling and investing in their professional development will help increase retention as will building a culture where employees feel supported.
