The Intermedia Group’s Liquor and Hospitality titles are expanding and as a result are hiring a media salesperson to work across a number of their trade and consumer publications.
About the role:
Working across print, digital and events, you’ll immerse yourself within the liquor and hospitality industry building existing relationships and developing new business among the big and small liquor suppliers across beer, wine, spirits and other categories including food.
You’ll be working in a fast paced environment, creating integrated marketing campaigns across print and digital advertising, trade shows and events. You will be working closely with editors, designers and the sales team, reporting into the Group Sales Manager.
This is a unique role that requires attendance at functions outside business hours, such as the opening of a new bar/hotel or the launch of a new beer/wine or spirit. Some interstate travel is also required.
About you:
You may be currently working in a sales role in the liquor or hospitality industry or in media sales role.
You will have initiative, be a self-starter, be keen to learn and work in a great team environment.
It would be an advantage to have previous experience in print and/or digital sales and/or knowledge of the Australian liquor industry. You will have excellent written and presentation skills to be able to write advertising proposals, as well as present to sales and marketing teams to win business.
Working to exceed budgets with rolling deadlines, you’ll have excellent time management skills.

The role offers a competitive base salary as well as an uncapped commission structure.
