By James Wells at ProWein in Dusseldorf

Reigning IWSC international winemaker of the year and Australian Vintage CEO, Neil McGuigan, has arrived at ProWein with an objective to test the potential of Moscato and also grow exports to Europe.

According to McGuigan, there is an opportunity for lower alcohol wines such as Moscato to take on Ready To Drink (RTD) beverages.

McGuigan is also using the ProWein exhibition to grow the export business into Europe and Eastern European countries in particular, to build on his label's strong positioning in the UK and Irish markets.
