Beers across the Modus Brewing range have had a refresh with their brand new identity set to hit the shelves in December.
The new look Modus XPA, Modus Pale, Modus Sonic Prayer IPA and Modus Hazy 3.5 branding will also feature across packaging.
Modus’ founder and owner, Grant Wearin, said the independent brewer has always prided itself on being at the forefront of innovation.
“Our new brewery is ticking all the quality and sustainability boxes we’ve always dreamt of,” he said.
“Now is the perfect time for the brand to evolve our on-shelf presence with updated packaging.”
The packaging and new brand identity was designed by Mebourne-based Alter and also includes a refinement of the Modus logo.
Wearin said the business had also recently received an award recognising the design of its Merewether brewery near Newcastle NSW.
“We were recently recognised by the Australian Institute of Architecture awarding Modus Brewery its highest honour which is humbling,” he said.
“We have spent the last two years building a state of the art facility and brewery venue from the ground up where quality assurance and sustainability are on the cutting edge.”
A new Krones packaging line at Merewether means Modus can run bottles and cans at 10 times its original capacity.
Modus was launched in 2014 when the brewer opened its doors to a venue at Mona Vale in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
