Industry veteran, Ben Walsh, has confirmed he is set to open Miss Moneypenny’s, a new cocktail bar and dining establishment in Noosa on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
The venue will be located on Noosa’s Hasting Street strip and is scheduled to open in November. It spans close to 500 square metres and will have capacity for 190 people.
The interior layout will sport a contemporary and chic design, featuring a semi-formal dining setting inside and an outside deck with perimeter lounges.
Walsh (pictured above), who also co-owns Goldfish Bar and Restaurant in NSW’s Hunter Valley, said he is looking forward to using local fresh produce from the area to craft “some Queensland-inspired signature cocktails”.
“That same produce will also feature prominently in our sharing plates, which will change frequently and as particular ingredients come into season. Our drinks philosophy is to entertain our customers, not educate.
“Consistency and creativity are essential ingredients in our operation. Our cocktail and dining menus are designed to inspire and intrigue, however we still appreciate the simple joy of a perfectly chilled beer and a traditional Napoli style pizza,” said Walsh.
The venue will also have an in-house charcuterie kitchen, offering a menu of in-house produced salamis pepperonis and smoked ham delicacies that will be smoked and cured onsite.
