The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) has commenced its search for a new chairperson following the departure of Amanda Lampe.

Ms Lampe, who is currently the Director of Corporate Relations at Diageo, will step down as NTIA Chair on 15 April, 2025.

“It has been a privilege to serve as chair and work with such a passionate community dedicated to strengthening Australia’s nightlife,” she said.

“This is an exciting time for the NTIA, and I look forward to seeing a new leader take the organisation to even greater heights.”

During the transition period, NTIA board member and Solotel COO Ben Stephens will serve as Acting Chair.

NTIA CEO, Mick Gibb, thanked Ms Lampe for her role in leading the association’s agenda.

“Amanda’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping the NTIA’s advocacy agenda and strengthening our voice on behalf of the night-time economy,” he said.

“Her commitment and strategic vision have helped drive real change for our industry, and we are incredibly grateful for her dedication.

“As we look ahead, we remain focused on building on this momentum to support a thriving and sustainable night-time sector.”

The NTIA’s Nominations Committee is overseeing the recruitment of a new chairperson who will be tasked with championing the association’s advocacy efforts, strengthening industry partnerships and driving long-term growth.

NTIA Nominations Committee Member, James Thorpe, said the group is looking for a candidate who will build momentum and play an active role in shaping the night time economy.

“The NTIA plays a critical role in advocating for a thriving night-time economy and we are looking for a chair who will build on this momentum,” he said.

“The night time economy covers many different industries so we encourage leaders with governance experience, strategic vision, and a commitment to industry growth to apply.”

Expressions of interest for the position are open now.
