More than 60 companies will be exhibiting well over 100 brands at this year’s Australian Drinks Festival (formerly Top Shelf), which takes place 16-17 July in Melbourne.
Companies taking part include major suppliers such as Beam Suntory, Bacardi, Pernod Ricard, William Grant and Fine Wine Partners but, as in previous years, the show will also feature a huge collection of smaller boutique brands from the likes of Nip of Courage, Artisan Hand Crafted and the Cardrona Distillery.
Visitors to the festival will be able to discover plenty of new products, including 78 Degrees Gin and Gunnery Australian Spiced Rum. Sampling will again be free, as will many of the presentations and seminars running across the weekend.
Speakers lined up this year include Pernod Ricard’s Global Canadian Whisky Ambassador Dave Mitton, Gin Queen Caroline Childerley and, all the way from the UK, Iain Griffiths, co-owner of London’s award-winning White Lyan and Dandelyan bars.
Early bird tickets are on sale until 16 June – you can buy them here.
A limited number of stands are still available if you wish to exhibit. Call Shane T Williams on 02 8586 6205 or Jason Wild on 02 8586 6213.
