Paramount Liquor shared details of its growth momentum and ambitious plans for the next five years at its third annual conference, which took place in Port Douglas last year.
Over 130 staff, suppliers and customers heard at the conference that Paramount has doubled its revenue since 2020. This year’s conference, centred around the theme of growth, offered suppliers and customers across all categories a unique opportunity to connect with the Paramount team.
The conference was opened by Paramount CEO Nathan Rowe and attendees went on to hear from keynote speakers and members of the Paramount team who shared plans and initiatives aimed at keeping the growth momentum going.
Mindset speaker Alex Moffat talked about blending leadership experience with neuroscience insights and shared cognitive and visual illusions to deliver a memorable and transformative presentation.
Hayley Rose, a seasoned strategist, delivered a compelling keynote titled “Start with the Buy,” where she shared her proven framework for helping businesses validate demand, identify real buyers, and refine product strategies before investing in production.
The conference also heard from , Lachlan Britt, Head of Supplier Partnerships at Paramount, and Ian Mason, General Manager for Australia & New Zealand at Eztenda, about the exclusive partnership between the two businesses, which is bringing multi-category beverage tendering to Australia at scale. The presentation by Britt and Mason highlighted how this collaboration will enhance supplier partnerships and drive mutual growth.
Attendees also heard from Nathan and Leigh Rowe and Paramount Liquor Chief Operations Officer Matthew Jeffrey, through the PL Confidential session, who answered anonymous questions on a range of topics, from future plans for growth to product developments and strategies.
Notably, Nathan and Leigh gave extensive insights into the forthcoming new website launch and the supplier benefits it will create, including a new marketplace. They spoke to their ongoing investment in the people at Paramount, with the expansion and creation of several teams, dedicated training and tools to better support staff and their business goals.
Moreover, they also detailed the rollout of Paramount Connect in Queensland and the Connect program expansion, which will support larger brands to increase their distribution footprint.
The conference concluded with the Paramount Awards, with 20 awards presented including Moet Hennessy earning “Most Improved Supplier” for their significant progress, Ben Vidaic from CUB recognised as “Supplier Account Manager of the Year” for his exceptional performance, Campari awarded “Fastest Growing Supplier” for their remarkable growth in the market, and Bacardi honoured as “Supplier of the Year” for their overall excellence.
