Future Proof, the series of hospitality forums presented by Paramount Liquor is heading to Melbourne in July, bringing an evening of insights and networking to the city hospitality professionals.

Future Proof Melbourne will take place at The Timber Yard from 6pm to 10pm on Tuesday, 2 July and include an evening of drinks, discussions and discovery as well as showcasing new products from Paramount’s Evolution Marketing partners across beer, wine, spirits and mixers.

Speaking about the event, Paramount CEO Nathan Rowe, said: “We have delivered this successful program to the industry in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide – it is now time for a uniquely Melbourne version. The evening will include three panel discussion hosted by Sam Bygrave, which will explore various aspects of Australia’s hospitality landscape.

The first discussion will see Bygrave joined by Daisy Tulley, General Manager of the Mucho Group, Starward Whisky Founder, David Vitale and Stephanie Airlie, Co-Founder AKIN Hospitality & Director House of Airlie Public Relations. The panel will share practical advice on how to develop branding, marketing and PR to create innovative hospitality experiences.

The second panel brings together welcome multi award winning bartender Millie Tang from The Gresham, Sarah Proietti, Maybe Sammy Venue Manager and Head of People & Culture at the Sammy Group and Karl Schlothauer CEO at House of Pocket & VP at YCK Laneways. This group will offer advice on building a successful hospitality career, leadership strategies, wellbeing initiatives and career progression.

The final panel, Future Proof Melbourne, will see Hatem Saleh the Founder & Managing Director of the Atlantic Group, Matthew Stirling the owner of award winning bar, Caretaker’s Cottage and respected food communicator Dani Valent dive into the emerging trends, challenges and innovations shaping Melbourne’s hospitality industry, and importantly strategies to thrive into the future.
